How to make it

  • Bake cake according to package instructions using a 9x13 pan.
  • While cake is baking,combine condensed milk and ice cream topping in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Stir constantly until sauce is warm and well mixed. DO NOT BOIL.
  • When cake is done,let cool for 5 minutes then poke holes in cake using the handle of a wooden spoon or a chopstick.
  • Remove 1/3 cup of sauce and 1 1/2 tablespoons of toffee pieces and set aside.
  • Slowly pour remaining sauce over warm cake. Make sure it seeps into the holes. Top with remaining crushed toffee pieces.
  • Let cake cool completely.
  • Spead whipped topping over cake. Drizzle the 1/3 cup of sauce over topping and sprinkle the 1 1/2 tablespoons toffee pieces.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

    With a name like this and a professed addiction to chocolate, I have to make this ... ~laughs~ The sweetened condensed milk is this clincher. This must be absolutely decadent! Can't wait to try it.
