My MOM sent me this when she could not find the recipe I was looking for, there are others with it I will put them all up.

Ingredients
- 1 cup oleo (personal info here oleo=butter or other sub)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup coconut
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 cups rice krispies
Directions
- Cream oleo and sugars.
- Add eggs one at a time. Beat well.
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Add to mixture.
- VERY stiff dough.
- Drop by drop on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 f, for 8 minutes.

- I do not see why you could not add cocoa or chocolate chips to this if you are a chocolate lover!!!

LOL We all who know just what oleo is date ourselves don't we? I knew exactly what you meant when you put down oleo but I have had my kids ask me what on earth that word is too. Recipe sounds quite good too thanks for the post
