How to make it

  • Combine melted butter and cake mix -- let butter cool before adding to mix. Mix will be crumbly.
  • Set aside -- reserve 1 1/2 cups of mixture for topping.
  • Pat remaining crumb mixture into an ungreased 9" X 13" pan.
  • Combine marshmallow cream and peanut butter -- spread evenly over the crumb mixture in the pan.
  • Crumble the reserved 1 1/2 cups of cake mixture over top of peanut butter/marshmallow mixture.
  • Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees -- cool and cut into bars.
