Easy Chicken Manicotti Recipe
An easy delicious way of making chicken manicotti. Found this in a Betty Crocker cookbook.

Ingredients
  • 1 jar (26-30 ounces) tomato pasta sauce (any variety)
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders
  • 14 uncooked manicotti shells (8oz)
  • 2 c. shredded mozzarella (8oz)
  • chopped fresh basil leaves

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spread about 1/3 of the pasta sauce in an ungreased rectangular pan.(13x9)
  2. Sprinkle garlic salt on chicken. Insert chicken into uncooked manicotti shells, stuffing from each end of shell to fill if necessary. Place shells on pasta sauce in dish. Pour remaining pasta sauce evenly over shells, covering completely. Sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Cover and bake about 1 1/2 hours or until shells are tender. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil and serve.
