How to make it

  • Cut the bacon into 1 inch pieces and fry in 10 inch skillet.
  • Place water into a small sauce pan, follow the cooking directions on the box of rice.
  • While the bacon and rice are cooking chop the onion.
  • When the bacon is crisp add the onion and cook until tender.
  • Drain off bacon grease
  • Return to skillet and add the cooked rice
  • Stir and serve
  • Cheesy scrambled eggs compliment this dish.

    This sounds pretty good and really simple. Although, I would prefer to use cottage bacon, but thats a personal taste thing.
