How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Blend the first five ingredients together in a bowl. Cover the bowl and chill all the way through.
  • Break off pieces and roll to about the size of a marble. Place on cookie sheet. They don't spread much so you can put them fairly close together.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until lightly brown.
  • Cool. The cookies can be frozen at this point for consumption at another time.
  • To make the frosting, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. If making more than one color, divide into separate bowls. Add food coloring to make the desired color(s).
  • Apply frosting generously. These may be frosted the day before serving and stored in the refrigerator.
