This is a list of odd amount measurements, which may be helpful in preparing portions of recipes.
Ingredients
- A pinch = less than 1/8 teaspoon shopping list
- 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon shopping list
- 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons = 1/6 cup shopping list
- 4 tablespoons = 1/4 cup shopping list
- 5 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon = 1/3 cup shopping list
- 8 tablespoons = 1/2 cup shopping list
- 12 tablespoons = 3/4 cup shopping list
- 3/8 cup = 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons shopping list
- 5/8 cup = 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons shopping list
- 7/8 cup = 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons shopping list
- 16 tablespoons = 1 cup = 8 ounces shopping list
- 2 cups = 1 pint = 16 ounces shopping list
- 2 pints = 1 quart shopping list
- 4 quarts = 1 gallon shopping list
- 1 ounce = 2 liquid tablespoons shopping list
