Ingredients

How to make it

  • Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes 1/8"-1/4" thick.
  • On a plate, alternate layers of mozzarella and tomato to form a circle.
  • With a pair of scissors, cut basil into shreds. Scatter the shreds over the plate.
  • Drizzle the plate with olive oil and vinegar.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

    YUM!!! Another thing you can do is reduce a cup of balsamic vinegar (just let it simmer over med-lo heat til it thickens) and it makes a nice sauce to drizzle over the salad.

    This is a great dish. I would suggest using Buffalo Mozzarella if you can get it. Unfortunately I can't. :(
