Cheese Flavored Potato Chips Recipe

	Peetabear / All my dishes 1 year, 10 months ago this is a recipe I tried this afternoon.. and I made a couple of changes.. I will include the orginal and then add mine changes... be careful these go from almost done to burned in the matter of seconds.. Prep:10m Cook:3m Servings:8	Peetabear

Ingredients

1 bag (16 oz.) potato chips*****

1/4 cup grated Parmesan or romano cheese*******

...................................................

i found the ridged or the thick cut chips worked best

............................................................

finely grated fresh cheese had a better flavor

asiago was nice also

........................................................

I also thought they were better with a sprinkle of red pepper

Directions

put potatoe chips on a cookie sheet in a single layer

sprinkle with the cheese

pre heat oven to 400 F

place the rack in the middle of the oven

bake for 3-5 minutes or until chips are hot*******

remove from oven and let cool

serve as is or with a black bean dip

BE CAREFUL THESE BURN IN THE MATTER OF SECONDS

I love the concept of flavoring plain chips...and with Parm or Romano cheese? *Swoon* I am also a big fan of the Asiago and have chucks of both Parmesan and Asiago in the fridge right now. I would also use the red pepper, as I love some heat in my food. I have to buy the chips but I'll report back when I try this. Great stuff... =)
