MASHED MAPLE SWEET POTATOES Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Spoon into a large casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 30 minutes until crusty on top.
  • Remove from oven and add more marshmallows to top and return to oven watching closely until marshmallows melt.

    My mother in law makes this every year for a couple holidays. Last Thanksgiving I had my side of the family over and they just loved it. What I found so funny was they had never had it before. I thought this was an old recipe everyone had heard of. This really gets kids to eat their veggies! I just founf instant sweet potatoes at the store, tried them not to good, they also have russet potatoes in them.
