- 24 fresh medium jalapeno peppers shopping list
- 1 pound mild pork sausage shopping list
- 2 cups all purpose baking mix shopping list
- 16 ounce package shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt shopping list
- 16 ounce package pepper jack cheese cubed shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Cut a slit down side of each jalapeno.
- Remove and discard seeds and as much pulp as possible then trim off stems and set aside.
- Combine sausage, baking mix, cheddar, pepper flakes and garlic salt in large bowl and mix well.
- Insert two cubes of pepper jack into each jalapeno.
- Pinch off some of the sausage mixture and shape it around each jalapeno covering completely.
- Arrange eggs evenly on greased baking sheet and bake 25 minutes.
