Fettuccine and pesto make a great quick week night meal..Serve with a nice loaf of bread and green salad.

Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbls. pine nuts
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 12 oz. fettuccine
Directions
- Add 1st 7 ingredients to a blender or processor and process until smooth.
- Cook fettuccine in 6-8 qts. boiling water until al dente. About 5 minutes
- Drain pasta, reserving 2 tbls. of it's water
- Add water to pesto and blend
- Toss hot fettuccine with pesto.
