- 20 oz cold, salted butter shopping list
- 2 ½ cups superfine sugar shopping list
- 5 cups flour shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten shopping list
How to make it
- Put the flour and sugar in a bowl add the butter on top. Cut in the butter, mixing it through the other ingredients.
- Add ¾ of the eggs and mix until you get a crumbly dough.
- Put the dough onto a baking tray and push it together until you get a layer about ½” thick. Cover the dough with the remaining eggs, smearing it out evenly with a spoon.
- Bake at 385° F for about 25 minutes
