Snake Alley Noodles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup green onion (green and white parts) thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces small cooked shrimp, peeled
  • 12 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained

Directions
  1. Combine soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch and water. Set aside.
  2. In large skillet over medium-high heat saute pork, ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes until pork is browned and cooked through.
  3. Add green onion and cook 1 minute, stirring.
  4. Add soy sauce mixture and cook until mixture boils and thickens slightly.
  5. Add shrimp and heat through.
  6. Combine with cooked pasta.
