Savory Chicken Braid

This yummy recipe has been a family favorite for years, and is very simple to make. :Enjoy! )
Ingredients
- * 1 (6 oz) package of cream cheese shopping list
- * 12 T. of melted butter, divided shopping list
- * 4 T. of chopped onion shopping list
- * 4 c. cooked chicken, cubed shopping list
- * 1/2 T. salt shopping list
- * 1/4 T. pepper shopping list
- * 4 T. milk shopping list
- * 2 (8 oz) tubes of crescent rolls shopping list
- Option: Add broccoli or other green vegetable. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Blend cream cheese and 4 T. of melted butter until smooth.
- Add onion, chicken, salt, pepper and milk.
- Separate crescent rolls into rectangles (you should have 8) and pat seams on baking sheet.
- Spoon 1/2 cup of mixture onto each rectangle and then fold each rectangle, sealing the edges completely so it is a braid.
- Brush with remaining melted butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
