Battling Bears French Toast Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter

2 Tbsps Light Syrup Karo

French Bread (I use a loaf day old Italian Bread cut 3/4" thick slices)

5 eggs

1 cup milk

1 tsp Vanilla

1 egg

1/4 cup evaporated milk/cream

1/4 cup triple sec

Dash of grated orange rind

Directions

Mix together brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, egg and evaporated milk. Heat until boiling and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Pour into 9x12 glass baking dish sprayed with Pam.

Slice bread into 3/4 slices and nestle into syrup.

Place egg, milk, triple sec, grated orange and vanilla into blender and whirl 15 seconds.

Pour over bread.

Cover and refrigerate over night.

Bake 30-35 minutes in a 350 degree oven. (Until bread turns brown)
