Dulce De Leche Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 C. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 C. Davinci Gourmet Sugar Free Dulce De Leche syrup
  • 2 T. Butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 C. splenda
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened and cut into pieces.
  • 1 prepared graham cracker crust

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small saucepan, over medium heat, melt chocolate with Dulce De Leche and butter.
  3. Stir until smooth.
  4. Set aside.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine eggs, sugar and salt.
  6. Add sour cream and blend well.
  7. Add cream cheese to egg mixture and beat until smooth.
  8. Gradually blend in chocolate mixture.
  9. Turn into prepared crust.
  10. Bake 35 minutes or until filling is barely set in center.
  11. Turn off heat, and let stand in oven for 15 minutes with door open. Then take out of oven and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
  12. You can garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Oh yeah and I love the DaVinci syrups. I have several of the sugar-free varieties at home and here at work as well. I bet the Irish Cream and Toffee would work well, too. Great post - will try soon. Thanks so much!
