Stir-fried Chicken And Cucumbers

- 7 ounces chicken breasts shopping list
- 1/2 egg white shopping list
- 1 tsp. cornstarch shopping list
- 2 cucumbers shopping list
- oil for Frying shopping list
- 1 small slice ginger root shopping list
- 1 Tbl. rice wine shopping list
- a few drops sesame oil shopping list
- For the Sauce: shopping list
- 1 Tbl. soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbl. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 pinch of pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the chicken breasts into thin, diagonal slices. Dip the slices in the egg white and then in the cornstarch.
- Cut the cucumbers in half lengthwise and then slice diagonally into 1/4-inch-thick pieces.
- Heat the oil over a low heat and fry the chicken gently. Remove the chicken and drain.
- Heat a wok and, when it is hot, pour in 2 Tbl. oil; stir-fry the ginger and, once it has started to give off its aroma, add the cucumbers.
- Add the chicken and sprinkle with rice wine and the sauce ingredients. Stir-fry quickly over high-heat.
- Finally, add a few drops of sesame oil.
