How to make it

  • Make a roux with the butter and flour.
  • Slowly stir in a little milk, and then some cream till desired sauce consistency.
  • Grate in some garlic and add the beef stock cube. Let it simmer until stock cube dissolves.
  • Stir in lots of mustard and black pepper.
  • About 5 mins before serving add a splash of whiskey and worcestshire sauce.
  • Pour over rare steak and new potatoes.
  • yummy!
