How to make it
- Make a roux with the butter and flour.
- Slowly stir in a little milk, and then some cream till desired sauce consistency.
- Grate in some garlic and add the beef stock cube. Let it simmer until stock cube dissolves.
- Stir in lots of mustard and black pepper.
- About 5 mins before serving add a splash of whiskey and worcestshire sauce.
- Pour over rare steak and new potatoes.
