Spicy tomato-chickpea soup with meatballs

- 1 can chickpeas shopping list
- 1 can diced tomato shopping list
- 5-10 tbsp tomato puree shopping list
- 7 dl chickenstock shopping list
- 30 dkg (10 ounces) ground meat (any kind) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- bread crumbs shopping list
- 3 cloves of garlic (crushed) shopping list
- 1-3 chilipeppers (seeded, finely chopped) shopping list
- 3/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp cumin shopping list
- 2 tbsp olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Put the meat ,the egg and some breadcrumbs into a bowl, season gently and mix it up.
- Shape the meat into walnut size balls. Set aside.
- Put the garlic, chilipeppers, cumin and salt into a little bowl. Mix it.
- Heat the oil in a pot. Put the chili-mix into the pot and cook it for 3 min.
- Add chickpeas, diced tomatos, then chicken stock. Mix well and bring to boil. Cook for 15 min. and stir occassionally.
- Blend well with a hand blender until smooth.
- Bring to boil again and put into the soup the tomato puree and the little meatballs (little water, salt if necessary). Cook for 15 min.
- Serve with lot of soft bread.
