Ingredients
  • 2 Tbl. unsalted Butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 Tbl. fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp. ground Cinnamon
  • pinch Salt
  • 1/2 C firmly packed Brown Sugar
  • 4 firm, ripe Bananas
  • 2 Tbl. low-fat Evaporated Milk

Directions
  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In an 8-inch square cake pan or a 9-inch round pie pan, combine the butter, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and 1/4 cup of the brown sugar. Place in the oven until the butter melts, about 3 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir with a fork to blend.
  3. Peel the bananas, put them in the baking pan and turn them to coat evenly with the butter mixture. Sprinkle the bananas with the remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar.
  4. Bake uncovered, until the sauce is bubbling and the bananas are barely tender when pierced, about 15 minutes.
  5. Using a spatula, carefully transfer the bananas to a platter or individual plates.
  6. Add evaporated milk to the baking pan and stir briskly with a fork or whisk until creamy and smooth. Pour sauce over the bananas. Serve at once.

OOOh sounds so good! This one made me drool! Not good timing I just put my whitening strips in! Ha! I have to save and try this. I think this would be quick and easy for surpise guests.
