Walnut Honey Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp of grated nutmeg, fresh grated please can use less
  • 3/4 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 12 brown & serve cloverleaf or "twin" rolls

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease 12 wells of large muffin tins.
  3. Combine honey, butter, nutmeg and nuts.
  4. Divide this mixture evenly in each well.
  5. Place rolls on top of mixture in wells.
  6. Bake 15 minutes.
  7. Let stand one minute after baking, invert pan to remove the rolls.
  8. Dig in!

Yes, dear I meant grated not greased, edited for clarity. I'm tired. You can cut back on the fresh nutmeg since it is so much more fragrant than the canned stuff. It is up to you.
