How to make it

  • Heat olive oil in large saucepan.
  • Once oil is hot brown garlic and red pepper in olive oil
  • Add sausage and brown.
  • Add chicken stock, tomatoes and juice and red wine bring to a boil and lower heat. Simmer about 15 - 20 minutes
  • Bring a small pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente.
  • At the same time that you put the pasta in the boiling water, add broccoli and beans and heat through or until broccoli is tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Put pasta in individual bowls and spoon the soup over top. Sprinkle with cheese if desired. Serve with warm crusty bread.
