Ice Box Cookies

These yummy maple flavored cookies have been in the family for years. They are requested again and again.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter shopping list
- 1 lb. brown sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 5 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp. maple flavoring shopping list
- 1 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter, brown sugar and eggs.
- Combine flour and baking soda. Add slowly to butter/sugar mixture. Mix well. Add maple flavoring and nuts until incorporated.
- Make two rolls on wax paper, about 2 inches wide and eight inches long. Roll up in the wax paper and refridgerate overnight.
- Slice (not too thick) and put on cookie sheet and bake in a 375 degree oven for 10 -12 minutes.
