Farfalle with Creamy Wild Mushroom Sauce

- 1lb.uncooked farfalle shopping list
- 1Tbs butter shopping list
- 12oz.presliced exotic mushroom blend(can use all cremini mushrooms) shopping list
- 1/2c chopped onion shopping list
- 1/3c finely chopped shallots shopping list
- 1Tbs. minced garlic shopping list
- 11/2tsp. salt,divided shopping list
- 1/4tsp fresh ground pepper shopping list
- 1/4c dry white wine shopping list
- 2/3c whipping cream shopping list
- 1/2c(2oz.)grated fresh parmigiano-reggiano cheese shopping list
- 2Tbs.chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- Minced fresh parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to directions,omitting salt and fat;drain
- Melt butter in lg. non-stick skillet over med-high heat. Add mushrooms,1/2c onion,shallots,garlic,1tsp.salt,and black pepper;cook 12 mins. or till liquid evaporates and mushrooms are tender;stirring occasionally. Add the wine,cook 2 mins or till liquid evaporates,stirring occasionally. Remove from heat
- Add pasta,cream,cheese and 2Tbs. parsley,toss to coat. Stir in remaining 1/2tsp salt. Garnish with parsley,if desired. Serve immediately.
