No... I think she forgot to add how long to cook it... I just put my pans in the oven and I am trying 25 minutes first... and adjusting as needed.

Do I really cook it for 45 min? or is that prep and cook time together? I'm new at this.

So don't cringe for me asking this...Can I add food coloring or Wilton's coloring to the frosting to make it certain colors? I'm looking for flavor as much as color...but I really need the color too. My husband doesn't care much for cake, but I'm making him a Star War's cake for his surprise 30th b-day party and he would very much enjoy this!

My daughter and I tried this cake for a pot luck dinner. We made it the morning of. At the pot luck, it was kind of dry, not very white- chocolate flavored, and the icing was hard and waxy. BUT the next day, the icing had softened up, the cake was more moist and the flavors had mixed. Much better. I'd recommend making it completely 24 hours in advance, covering it and serving it then. It really is delicious.

Oh my gosh, I'm speechless! Usually I automatically pass on recipes where I have to cream butter & sugar. But this might even be worth going out & buying layer cake pans! (Can you tell that I don't bake?!)
