Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Prepare pasta according to pkg. directions
  • Drain and return to pot
  • Heat oil and saute onion until tender.
  • Stir in flour and cook for a minute or so
  • Gradually add milk, salt and pepper , whisking all the while
  • Remove from heat and add 1/2 the cheese, peas and ham
  • Top with remaining cheese
  • Bake in a 13x9 baking dish for 25-30 minutes.

    I love this dish. Like my Uncle Dominic's ham and peas...he wasn't really a relative but he would happily share his good food and homemade wine.
