Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 c. AP flour
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 c. Baker's white sugar (I use C & H)
  • 2/3 c. margarine (I use Parkay)
  • 2/3 c. shortening (I use Crisco)
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. toasted hazelnuts (optional)

Directions
  1. Cream margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla together with an electric mixer.
  2. Add dry ingredients; mix well.
  3. Add chocolate chips.
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an airbake cookie sheet.
  5. Bake @ 350 degrees for about 8-10 min., or until light brown.
  6. ENJOY! :)
