How to make it

  • sweat peppers, onion, and garlic over medium low heat (until translucent)
  • add salt, pepper, and spices
  • remove from heat and stir in tomatoes
  • finish with lime juice and olive oil
  • serve with chips or use as a garnish on your favorite mexican recipe
  • *for a spicier salsa do not remove seedes and ribs from the chilies
  • **a few tablespoons fresh chopped cilantro can be added at the end for a brighter flavor
