How to make it

  • Scrub the sweet potatoes clean.
  • Prick their tops to vent out steam.
  • Nuke until soft.
  • Slit and into each cavity add a generous pat of sweet butter and sprinkle in a lot of cinnamon.
  • When you're ready to eat them just mash all together in the skins and be ready for the ensueing food coma.

Aren't these so darn good? We sometimes add a little brown sugar to ours and we eat them skins and all. It's like a warm, sweet, comforting dessert veggie. Another great share, Borinda - thank you!

I try and serve sweet potatoes at least twice a week, because they're so good for you and we love them. This sounds great.

way2 - you are right! this is just your fast, easy, and too-convenient decadence. You're my kind of dangerous cook!!

To make this even more decadent, add a sprinkle of brown sugar with the butter and cinnamon. Believe me, there is not much that is better.
