Tex Mex Cheese Chowder

- LAND O LAKES® butter or Blend 1 ounce shopping list
- Chopped green bell pepper 3 ounce shopping list
- Sliced green onions 1 1/2 ounce shopping list
- chili powder 2 1/2 teaspoon shopping list
- ground cumin 1 1/2 teaspoon shopping list
- milk 3 to 4 cup* shopping list
- LAND O LAKES® White Golden Velvet® process cheese Spread 5 pounds shopping list
- canned tomatoes, drained, chopped 9 ounce shopping list
- canned kidney beans, drained 9 ounce shopping list
- whole kernel corn 9 ounce shopping list
- hot pepper sauce 1/4 teaspoon shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in stockpot until sizzling.
- Sauté bell pepper, green onions, chili powder and cumin until peppers are crisply tender.
- Add 3 cups milk, diced White Golden Velvet® and all remaining ingredients.
- Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until cheese is completely melted.
- Heat soup to 160ºF and serve.
- *Use remaining 1 cup milk to adjust consistency if necessary.
