Ingredients

How to make it

  • wash bhor thoroughly
  • place in pot cover with water and boil until done
  • rinse and drain
  • make a slightly thick syrup by dissolving the sugar in the water and vinegar add the salt and crushed red chillies (dried)
  • add the drained bhor and simmer on low heat until nice and thick
  • ENJOY!!! ESPECIALLY FOR MY FRIEND TINA FROM PRETORIA !!!

    Mumtaz, your recipes are so intriguing and exotic but where will I get the ingredients?!?!? lol I really love the sound of this and will try my best to get Bhor from the spice shops in the Indian quarter over here. Wish me luck ;)
