Ingredients

How to make it

  • Top one slice of bread with one layer of gouda, a layer of pickle slices and ham.
  • Top ham with another layer of cheese and cover with a piece of bread.
  • Melt butter over medium heat in a frying pan.
  • Cook, turning once, until cheese is melted and each side is crisp, about 3 minutes per side.

    Very fun! Next time I'll sub out some rye bread for the pumpernickle, just personal preference, but the flavours were excellent! 03/14/22

    LOVE THIS!!!!! I just LOVE smoked gouda!! I hate tomatoes so blt's had to be reinvented, I use pickles instead of tomatoes thats how I found out pickles aren't just for burgers!! I cant wait to bite into this!! Thanks

    I love grilled cheese sandwich so this recipe looks very good. I will for sure try it as soon as i can. I have a question though, can i make it with sourdough bread? ThanX's 4 sharing =)...
