Another tried and true delight sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. Packed full of flavors.

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram leaves
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 2 pounds canned tomatoes
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 2-1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup pearl barley
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper

Directions
  1. Sauté ground beef, onion and celery then stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.
  2. Turn into a shallow baking dish then cover with foil and bake at 375 for 1 hour.
  3. Add water if necessary.
