chicken korma

- 1 1/2 chicken pieces,trimmed shopping list
- 4 tspn ginger and garlic paste shopping list
- 3 green chillies shopping list
- 1/2 cup cashews shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 2 tblspn ghee shopping list
- 1 tblspn oil shopping list
- 1 large onion,ground to a paste shopping list
- 4 whole cardamom shopping list
- 4 cloves shopping list
- 2 pieces cinnamon shopping list
- 2 tspn coriander powd shopping list
- 1 tspn cumin powd shopping list
- 2 tspn chilli powd shopping list
- 2 tspn cumin seeds shopping list
- 1/2 cup youghurt shopping list
- 1/2 cup tinned cream shopping list
- few strands saffron dissolved in 1/4 cup hot milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- rinse and drain meat
- combine ginger and garlic paste,nuts and blend with water til smooth
- heat ghee and oil and fry onions and whole spices
- stir in garlic paste and cook for 5 min
- add meat,mix well
- lower heat add salt and cook for 2o min
- beat youghurt and add gradually
- when meat is tender and fairly dry add cream,saffron and coriander
- simmer for 5-10 min
- serve with basmati rice or butter naan
