These homeade oreos are the best. My kids request them for school birthdays to share with their class. They are very tasty and super fattening! I also won the grand prize ribbon with these at our local town fair!!

Ingredients
- 1 chocolate cake mix ( I use Devils food moist deluxe brand)
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup oil
- icing:
- 1 box of cream cheese
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 2cup conf. sugar
Directions
- Mix cake mix, eggs and oil well.
- Roll in to balls
- Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 min.
- Icing: mix all put on 1/2 of cookie place the other half on top and enjoy!
- Have the kids do the icing part.

Hi! Recipe sounds delicious! Not that I should be eating them. :) I might be tempted to make them as I can't get Oreo cookies in England. I occasionally see them in one place.

Finally got these made today, Michelle - JUST what the doctor ordered!! I have a similar cookie base, but I just fill with the Fluffy White canned frosting. Your cream cheese filling was light years above and beyond the canned frosting!!!! I'm happy and munchin' away - maybe I'll share some with John later...I'm in cookie heaven tonight!
