These homeade oreos are the best. My kids request them for school birthdays to share with their class. They are very tasty and super fattening! I also won the grand prize ribbon with these at our local town fair! Read more ! See less

Ingredients

1 chocolate cake mix ( I use Devils food moist deluxe brand) shopping list
2 eggs shopping list
1/3 cup oil shopping list
icing: shopping list
1 box of cream cheese shopping list
3 tbsp. butter shopping list
2cup conf. sugar shopping list

How to make it

Mix cake mix, eggs and oil well.
Roll in to balls
Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 min.
Icing: mix all put on 1/2 of cookie place the other half on top and enjoy!
Have the kids do the icing part.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, Oh my gosh these were so good. I'm on my third batch today. Made one batch yesterday morning, made two this morning. You got my five on this one. Thanks for the recipe, I'm sure I will be making this recipe a lot. So easy to make and so good. It's a great recipe for any holiday or just anytime. Yum Yum

Making these tonight, Michelle, for the office birthday celebration - is going to be in the 90s and high humidity on Wed, so I needed something that doesn't need to be crispy - these will be perfect!!! The office has now had your mountain cookies, and soon will have these little gems...what's next, my dear?!?

Finally got these made today, Michelle - JUST what the doctor ordered!! I have a similar cookie base, but I just fill with the Fluffy White canned frosting. Your cream cheese filling was light years above and beyond the canned frosting!!!! I'm happy and munchin' away - maybe I'll share some with John later...I'm in cookie heaven tonight!
