Dallas Morning News recipe for one of everyone's favorite sandwiches. Very tasty and sauerkraut-y..delicious on the french bread.

Ingredients
  • Half a loaf of French or cuban bread
  • mayonnaise
  • slice of leftover roast pork loin.
  • slice of deli ham
  • bottled sauerkraut
  • slice of Gruyère cheese.
  • mustard

Directions
  1. Split half a loaf of French bread horizontally.
  2. Spread the bottom half with mayonnaise.
  3. Top with a slice of leftover roast pork loin.
  4. Top with a slice of deli ham.
  5. Drain some bottled sauerkraut thoroughly in a colander.
  6. Top ham with sauerkraut, then a slice of Gruyère cheese.
  7. Spread top half of French bread with mustard and place over bottom half.
  8. Cook in a sandwich press or skillet (pressing down on the sandwich with another skillet) until toasted and cheese begins to melt.

Oh wow this sounds good, I love sandwichs like I love soup and desserts LOL This is a must to make real soon, I can use my panini grill on this one too, they make the most wonderful crispy sandwiches. You have my 5 on this one too, great post JM.
