  • stir frequently.
  • Skim.
  • Pour into sterilized jars; seal.
  • Yield: 8 half pints jars

    YUMMMMMMY! MY GRANDMA USE TO CAN THIS FOR OUR FAMILY. SHE WOULD PUT IT ON OUR TOAST AND BISCUITS EACH MORNING BEFORE US GOING TO SCHOOL AND HER TO WORK. DURING THIS TIME, WE WERE STAYING AT MY GRANDMAS EVEN THOUGH WE HAD OUR OWN HOME BECAUSE MY MOMA WAS TAKING CARE OF MY GREAT GRANDMA WHILE MY GRANDMA WORKED EVERYDAY. MY GREAT GRANDMA MAGGIE HAD CANCER. SO MY GRANDMA WOULD WAKE US IN THE MORNINGS TO BREAKFAST WITH THIS DELICIOUS PRESERVE. GIRL, THANKS FOR THIS MEMORY! YOU GOT MY 5 FOR SURE. I WAS TELLING MOMA THE OTHER DAY WE NEEDED TO CAN THIS.. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
