My Favorite Mac And Cheese

- 7 ounces dried macaroni shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 3 Tbls.flour shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 8 Ounces cream cheese shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp.salt shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp.black pepper shopping list
- 2 Tsp.Dijon mustard shopping list
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 Tbls.butter shopping list
- 2 Tbls.chopped fresh parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil.Add macaroni and cook 8-10 minutes,or until al dente.,drain in colander.
- In a 3 Qt saucepan over medium heat,melt butter,stir in flour.Cook for one minute,stirring occasionally,until smooth.Add milk,creamcheese,salt,pepper,and mustard.Continue cooking until thickened,stirring a few times.
- In a large bowl add sauce to cooked macaroni,add shredded cheese,stir together.Pour into a 2 Qt greased casserole dish.In a small bowl combine bread crumbs,butter and parsley.Spread over top of macaroni mixture.Bake for 15-20 minutes,or until golden brown.Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
