How to make it

  • Brown beef till no longer pink; drain fat
  • Add rice and finish browning
  • Add the remaining ingredients
  • Heat to boiling; stir well and cover
  • Simmer 20 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed
  • Garnish with dollops of sour cream

    Just made it and it tastes amazing...I substituted the mushrooms for mushroom soup and a lil' bit more curry :-) Thanks for a great recipe!!

    I made this last night and the family loved it! I was missing a couple of things so I made some substitutions - tomatoes for the mushrooms, chicken broth for beef broth, buckwheat groats for rice. It was a nice meal served with some steamed broccoli w/ garlic. Thanks so much - quick and easy!
