Onion and Blue Cheese Foccacia

- 2 cups white onions sliced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage shopping list
- 1 Italian flat bread shopping list
- 1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes chopped shopping list
- 3 ounces blue cheese crumbled shopping list
How to make it
- Cook onions in butter over low heat in medium skillet until very tender and lightly browned then stir in sage.
- Arrange onions on bread and sprinkle with tomatoes and cheese.
- Bake at 350 until bread is hot and cheese is melted.
- Cut in wedges.

This was great-- I used the topping on my own homemade pizza-style bread, adding crumbled sage to the dough. It got raves. The combination of the sweet onions, the chewy tomatoes and the salty cheese was perfect.
