Apple Almonds And Cranberries Strudel

- Dough shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 3 cups flour + ½ tsp. salt shopping list
- 4 tbsp. oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk ( or less) shopping list
- Filling shopping list
- 1 cup chantilly cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh cake crumbs shopping list
- 2 apples, peeled, cored and cutted in chunks shopping list
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries shopping list
- 1/2 cup grond almonds, toasted shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon shopping list
- egg glaze ( 1 egg + water) shopping list
- Confectioners sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven at 125 F.
- form a crown with the flour and place in the center the oil and See Photo
- egg… add milk and work until you have a soft dough…. Make a ball and cover with film, let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes…. See Photo
- Thoroughly flour one side of a large clean dish towel, place the pastry on top and, with your fingers, gently stretch the dough to a large rectangle about 24 x 20 inches; cover with another dish towel and set aside for 5 minutes. See Photo
- Spread the chantilly cream, cake crumbs… ( cake crumbs should be added alter the cream)… apple chunks, cranberries, almonds and finally the cinnamon and sugar…
- Roll ( as you see in the Picture) , seal borders with egg glaze, brush the strudel with egg glaze and place in a greased baking sheet. See Photo
- Bake for 40 – 50 minutes…
- Dust Confectioner’s sugar and serve warm with vanilla ice cream and/or cream See Photo
