A spicy dish for the barbecue in summer. Marinate overnight. Serve with mint sauce and a mixed salad.

Ingredients
  • 9 French cut lamb racks (cut into 3 pieces)
  • 1 cup natural yoghurt
  • 1 tspn crushed garlic
  • 1 tspn crushed ginger
  • 1 tspn garam masala
  • 1 tspn salt
  • 1/2 tspn chiili powder
  • 1/2 tspn Tandoori colour (saffron)
  • 1/2 tspn white pepper

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Place the lamb cutlets in the bowl and coat well.
  3. Cover and leave overnight in the fridge to marinate.
  4. Next day, remove the marinated cutlets from the fridge.
  5. Place over hot charcoal coals on a barbecue and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until your liking.
  6. Remove cutlets from the barbecue and place on a serving platter.
  7. Serve hot with mint sauce and your choice of mixed salad.

I love grilled Lamb and I am especially partial to yoghurt base marinades... Putting this on my must try list... Good post thanks Jim
