Salmon And Broccoli Bake

- 20oz frozen broccoli spears, cooked and drained shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine shopping list
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups heated milk shopping list
- 4 darnes salmon, cooked and picked over and separated into chunks shopping list
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fine dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 tbs fresh chopped parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Place cooked broccoli spears in a lightly buttered, shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
- In a saucepan over medium low heat, melt butter; stir in flour, salt and pepper.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until sauce mixture is smooth and thickened.
- Remove from heat
- Top broccoli with the salmon chunks.
- Pour sauce over salmon.
- Combine Parmesan cheese, parsley and bread crumbs; sprinkle over sauce.
- Bake salmon casserole at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and mixture is bubbly.
