Ingredients
  • 6 cup sugar
  • 3 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 envelope. unsweetened Kool-Aid (any flavor)
  • 1 bottle liquid pectin
  • Canning jars and lids

Directions
  1. In large pot, bring to a full rolling boil, sugar, water, soda and Kool-Aid.
  2. Add liquid pectin and return to a full boil.
  3. Boil for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat and skim.
  5. Immediately pour into hot jars and seal.

Sounds easy but how many and what size jars?
As you can see I'm not versed in canning of any kind...Bob


For canning, it depends on the size jar you want for jelly. I usually use the smaller ones (6 oz) so I make about a dozen.


I love this recipe!! The possibilities are endless with all of the flavors of Kool-Aid!! To me the hardest part of making jelly is preparing the jars....Thanks for sharing!
