Squash Cupcakes

- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup shortning shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp. nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 -1/2 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups squash shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream together sugar, eggs and shortning.
- Sift dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture.
- Add buttermilk, vanilla and squash, and stir well.( the amount of buttermilk used depends on the moisture in the squash., better too much than too little)
- Pour batter into lined tins and bake 15-20 minutes.Frost with your favorite...or not. : )
