breakfast cassarole

- 1 pound bacon slices cut and fried/drain grease shopping list
- 1/2 pound ham chopped shopping list
- 1 small onion shopping list
- 1/2 red pepper shopping list
- 1/2 green pepper shopping list
- 1 /2 cup mushrooms shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves shopping list
- aprox 12 slices white bread,crusts removed shopping list
- 1 pound favorite cheese (I used a combo of monteray jack and sharp cheddar ) shopping list
- BATTER shopping list
- 4 cups cream or half and half shopping list
- 8 eggs shopping list
- pinch cayenne shopping list
- other prefered herbs or spice shopping list
- whisk together well. shopping list
How to make it
- butter your baking pan 12x14
- assemble 6 slices on bottom of pan
- butter 1 side of and cut remaining slices in half and assemble around sides ,butter side out.(very attractive if you cut on the diagonal)

- chop and sautee the onions,peppers and garlic till soft.
- add your mushrooms.
- mix bacon and ham into the vegetables and then put this mix into your prepared dish.
- stir your batter again and pour over the whole.
- add the cheese on top.
- at this point you can cover and refridgerate over night .
- or
- allow to sit for 15 minutes and then bake at 350 degrees till brown and set up, check the middle aprox 40-50 min

- this can be used as a supper dish as well ,works great with any left over meats and vegetables. like chicken and broccoli.
