Whiskey Sour Sirloin Dated 1959 Recipe

	main beef steak whiskey sour sirloin peppercorns orange

Ingredients

3 pounds sirloin

1/3 cup orange juice

1/4-cup whiskey

12 peppercorns

1 orange, thinly sliced

1/3 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 small onion thinly sliced

1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Place steak in shallow baking dish.

In small saucepan combine remaining ingredients except orange then simmer 5 minutes.

Pour sauce over meat then top with orange slices and cover.

Refrigerate 6 hours turning occasionally then remove from marinade and grill or broil as desired.

Heat remaining marinade and serve with steak.
