How to make it

  • Melt butterscotch and chocolate chips over low heat in a large saucepan.
  • Carefully mix in chow mein noodles .
  • Spoon onto waxed paper, greaseproof paper or baking parchment.
  • Chill until cool and firm.
  • Makes 3 - 4 dozen, depending upon the size of the haystacks.
