Ice Cream Corn Bread Recipe
This is a very good corn bread. I was told the story goes that a lady was cooking dinner and realize she was out of milk so she used melted icecream and it worked! I like this recipe because it taste like corn bread but a little better!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups White Lily self-rising cornmeal mix 9 or whatever you want to use)
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups softened ice cream ( FRENCH VANILLA OR PLAIN VANILLA)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven on 450 F.
  2. Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased iron skillet pan.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
